After Hours Emergencies and Specialist Care

For after hour emergencies, we recommend Sherwood South Emergency located at 3803 South Sherwood Forest Boulevard Baton Rouge, LA 70816 (225) 293-6440. In the event a specialist is needed for your pets best care, we can arrange appointments for you with oncologist, orthopedist, dermatologist, or other specialist.


Payments

Dutchtown Animal Hospital accepts payment via cash, MasterCard, or Visa. So that we can continue to provide you high quality service utilizing the best medical technologies, we require that payment be made at the time services are rendered. We provided estimates for all surgeries and hospitalizations. If you have not received an estimate, you are welcome to request one at any time for your expected charges.

We also over CareCredit, a health care financing plan that covers health care for your entire family, including your pet! The plans are interest free as long as monthly payments are made and the balance is paid off within a specified time.
